Shahid to celebrate son's arrival with week long paternity leave
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput are on cloud nine as the couple welcomed their second child. Mira delivered a healthy baby boy on Wednesday, September 5, in Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital. Shahid Kapoor's paternity leave
Shahid will reportedly be going on a short paternity leave now. The doting father had taken a break for a couple of months after his daughter Misha was born. But this time Shahid could only get a week's leave from his hectic schedule. "I was negotiating to take a month-long break, but things didn't work out," he said.
Mira was relaxed about her second pregnancy
Mira, who is already a mother, was quite relaxed with her second pregnancy. She posted pictures of her pregnancy journey and was seen enjoying quality time with hubby Shahid and her family. Interestingly, Mira was quite conscious about her pregnancy during Misha's birth and used to avoid getting clicked by shutterbugs.
Misha's reaction to being a 'big sister'
Apart from the new parents, the Kapoor princess Misha was also excited about this new member of her family. During one of her interviews, Mira spoke about Misha's excitement about being a big sister. She said, "She knows there is a baby inside and she says, 'Hi Baby!' every day to my tummy".
Congratulatory messages poured in for the celebrity parents
As soon as the news of Shahid-Mira being blessed with a baby boy spread, the new parents were inundated with congratulatory messages from several celebrities.
