Shahid's 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' in a fix, courtesy KriArj
KriArj Entertainment and its head-honcho Prernaa Arora continue making news for the wrong reasons. After creating troubles for Sara Ali Khan's 'Kedarnath' and John Abraham's 'Parmanu' over non-payment of dues, the production house has now landed Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' in a soup. Apparently, the shooting of the film has been stalled. Here's more.
The reason remains the same
A media report has it that due to non-payment issues, the hotel where the film's crew was staying has been locked. The hotel staff has even kept the crew's belongings with them. Pertaining to the issue, the shooting of 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' has been put on hold as of now.
Prernaa's infamous fights
Prernaa first locked horns with Abhishek Kapoor who is helming 'Kedarnath'. Citing delay in payments, Abhishek had parted with ways with Prernaa. Similar story transpired with 'Parmanu - The Story Of Pokhran' and John's JA Entertainment terminated their contract with KriArj. Also, Kyta Productions, which collaborated with KriArj on 'Pari', has called off its three-film deal with them.
