Shahid Kapoor reacts to cancer rumors, calls them 'random stuff'

What's the story

Shahid Kapoor's fans recently went in a state of shock after it was reported that the actor is suffering from cancer.

According to the media reports, Shahid became the recent target of a hoax claiming that he has been diagnosed with stomach cancer.

The hoax spread like fire in the wild. However, Shahid has dismissed the rumors and called them "random stuff".

Shahid took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to clear the air about his health and urged his fans not to believe in random rumors.

"Guys I'm totally fine pl don't believe random stuff, (sic)" Shahid wrote.

It was also reported that Shahid was quite amused when he learned such rumors were being spread about him. Apparently, he even laughed at the news.

But, family members were miffed by rumors

Meanwhile, Shahid's family members have expressed their displeasure toward the rumors.

While talking to ABP News, one of Shahid's family members stated, "How can people write just anything? This news is based on what? Spreading rumors like these is not acceptable".

Notably, Shahid's manager too had dismissed the reports about the actor suffering from any kind of disease.

Meanwhile, Shahid is gearing up for 'Kabir Singh'

Meanwhile, Shahid is busy preparing for his upcoming movie Kabir Singh. The movie happens to be the Bollywood remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy.

It features Kiara Advani in the lead and is slated to release on June 2, 2019.

After the failure of Shahid's last release Batti Gul Meter Chalu, it is expected that Kabir Singh might change the game for him.
