Love like Rawal loved Padmavati: Shahid tells Deepika's husband Ranveer
Shahid Kapoor is a doting husband and has raised the bar for all men around. His 'oh-so-perfect' married life with Mira Rajput is an inspiration for many. During his recent appearance on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan 6, Shahid revealed his successful marriage mantra and gave the best advice to newlyweds Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Shahid's advice is all about unconditional love
When Shahid became the brave Rajasthani king, Raja Rawal Ratan Singh, Deepika was his queen Padmavati. His conditional love for Padmavati in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat won our hearts. Keeping his character in mind, Shahid advised Ranveer to love Deepika as much Rawal Ratan Singh loved Padmavati. Now that's certainly the best advice for every husband.
Shahid talks about his 'cold war' with Ranveer and Deepika
Further, Shahid also spoke his much-talked-about cold war with Ranveer and Deepika which reportedly started during Padmaavat. Shahid mentioned that he shared a 'strictly' professional relationship with Ranveer-Deepika but that was about it. "We connected when we were working and now we don't have any connection," he said.
Is Ishaan dating Janvhi? Shahid answers
KWK 6 also featured a segment where KJo quizzed Shahid about his younger brother Ishaan Khattar's dating rumors with Janhvi Kapoor. Shahid replied that Ishaan 'buzzes around a lot of people' including Janhvi. "Janhvi is not special like that. Okay? She should know this. Janhvi, you're one of those people he buzzes around as he is a buzzy guy," the actor quipped.
Meanwhile, Shahid will become a rebel for 'Kabir Singh'
On the work front, Shahid is busy shooting for Sandeep Vanga's Kabir Singh. The movie is a remake of Telugu hit movie Arjun Reddy and the project has excited Shahid's fans. Also starring Kiara Advani, Kabir Singh will release on June 21 this year.
