SRK is doing 'much better,' will attend IPL final
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan troubled the nation on Wednesday evening after reports surfaced that he had been hospitalized due to a heat stroke and dehydration. Now, his friend-actor Juhi Chawla has shared that the superstar is feeling "much better" and plans to support his team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), in the Indian Premier League (IPL) finals. The IPL final will take place on Sunday evening.
'He will soon be up,' said Chawla
Chawla reportedly told News18, "Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up, and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals." KKR's opponent for the finals hasn't yet been decided; if Chawla-Khan's team wins the cup, this would be their third victory after previous wins in 2012 and 2014.
Khan's hospitalization details and health scare
Khan was admitted to KD Hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering from dehydration and a heat stroke on Wednesday. He was in the city to watch the IPL match between KKR and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Accompanying him were his daughter-actor Suhana Khan, younger son AbRam, manager Pooja Dadlani, as well as Chawla and her husband-businessman Jay Mehta. Before his health scare, Khan managed to celebrate KKR's victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad which secured the former's spot in the IPL 2024 finale.
