SRK was earlier supposed to work on Rakesh Sharma's biopic
Notably, SRK was to work on Rakesh Sharma's biopic Saare Jahaan Se Acchha, but he left the project. Rumors were adrift that he was working on a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film or Don 3, but Khan denied them, stating that he's taking time-off from films.
Show to likely shift from its earlier Sunday 7pm slot
The first season of Ted Talks India aired in December 2017 where celebrities like filmmaker Karan Johar, writer-politician Javed Akhtar, student activist-writer Gurmehar Kaur, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, film/TV producer Ekta Kapoor, had appeared as guest speakers. However, due to a clash in scheduling, the show will shift from its earlier Sunday 7pm spot and air at either 11am or 8pm, the source reported.
'Ted Talks' Season 2 was supposed to return in Dec'18
SRK was last seen in the December release Zero, written by Himanshu Sharma and directed by Aanand L. Rai, starring alongside Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. Earlier, showrunners were planning to telecast season 2 by December last year, however, as SRK was busy with Zero at the time, the deadline was pushed. The show is produced by TED Conferences and airs on Star Plus.
