'I'm like MS Dhoni': SRK cheekily reveals retirement plans
Shah Rukh Khan recently made his comeback as the host of the prestigious International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards after more than a decade-long hiatus. During the ceremony, his co-host Karan Johar asked him about his retirement plans. SRK cheekily suggested that Johar should think about retiring himself, drawing parallels with sports legends like Sachin Tendulkar and Roger Federer who knew when to call it quits.
'I'm like MS Dhoni': SRK's response
When Johar asked Khan why he doesn't retire, the actor jokingly likened himself to former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He said, "I am a different kind of legendary. I am like MS Dhoni. Na na karke bhi 10 bar IPL khel jaate hai (Even after saying no, he ends up playing 10 seasons of IPL)." Fellow actor Vicky Kaushal then praised Khan, stating that "Retirement is for legends, kings are forever."
