Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his family will soon be moving out of their iconic Mumbai residence, Mannat, to a luxurious duplex in Pali Hill, temporarily. The move comes as their primary home is undergoing renovations.
Though smaller than Mannat's 27,000 sq. ft. area, the new temporary residence boasts a combined 10,500 sq. ft. area, with two duplex apartments, approximately.

Khan family to remain within close proximity to Mannat
Notably, the Khan family is staying just 3km away from Mannat, ensuring they stay close to their main residence amid the renovations.
The two duplex apartments are situated on the first and second floors and the seventh and eighth floors of the Puja Casa building in Pali Hill, Khar.
The Bhagnani family, including actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani and sister Deepshikha Deshmukh, co-owns the property.
Rental details
Khan family will pay ₹8.67cr for 3-year stay
The Khan family has rented the two duplex apartments for an annual rent of ₹8.67cr for three years, which amounts to a monthly rent of ₹24.15 lakh.
The rental comes with a security deposit of around ₹68.97 lakh.
The deal was officially registered on February 14, with a stamp duty of ₹2.22 lakh, property registration documents accessed by Zapkey.com show.

Khan family to have Bhagnani family as neighbors
For the first time, the Khan family will have neighbors while living in the Puja Casa building. The Bhagnani family, who co-own the building, will be their next-door neighbors for the next couple of years.
Apart from the Khans, the building is also home to actor Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky and Deepshikha, and Vashu and Pooja Bhagnani.
Luxury living
Khan family to enjoy luxury in Pali Hill
Despite being smaller, the luxury apartments in Pali Hill are still spacious by Mumbai's real estate standards.
The area is notorious for its concentration of Bollywood stars and is home to a few other big shots, including actors Sanjay Dutt and Alia Bhatt.
Reportedly, the Khan family will have the best of luxury living in their temporary residence while retaining their privacy and security.
