Apple TV+ has confirmed the renewal of its critically acclaimed series, Severance, for a third season.
Apple CEO Tim Cook announced on Friday, coinciding with the release of the Season 2 finale, Cold Harbor.
The series, created and produced by Dan Erickson and Ben Stiller, has reportedly surpassed Ted Lasso as Apple's most-watched show to date, with an impressive 681 million minutes viewed in just one week.

Stiller assures fans a shorter wait for 'Severance' Season 3
Despite the long three-year gap between Severance's first and second seasons, Stiller has promised fans they won't have to wait that long for Season 3.
On the New Heights podcast, he said, "No, no, the plan is not—definitely not."
"No, the plan is not, and hopefully, we'll be announcing what the plan is very soon. That will not be that."

Severance features Adam Scott as Mark Scout heading a team at Lumon Industries where employees are subjected to a procedure that separates their work and personal memories.
The sophomore season introduced several new characters and explored the backstories of others in further depth.
It notably explored Lumon's massive impact on Harmony Cobel's (Patricia Arquette) early life and career, as well as Scout and Gemma's (Dichen Lachman) romance.
