'Emilia Perez' to release on Netflix in November
Emilia Perez is set to hit select theaters on November 1, before it becomes available for streaming on Netflix from November 13. The film also features Edgar Ramirez in a pivotal role. According to the official description provided by Netflix, the movie is an "odyssey" that follows the journey of four remarkable women in Mexico, each pursuing their own happiness.

Gomez shares her experience of working on 'Emilia Perez'
Speaking about her experience of working on Emilia Perez, Gomez told Variety at the Cannes Film Festival, "It was captivating, it was heartbreaking, it was really moving to me." The Grammy-nominated artist also expressed her enjoyment of singing in the film. "I had a blast and I love the songs. I think they're really beautiful," she said.
Gomez shifts focus from music to acting
In recent years, Gomez has shifted her focus from her music career to acting. She currently stars in the Hulu comedy series Only Murders in the Building alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short.
