Experience Satyajit Ray's 'Nayak' in theaters on this date
What's the story
The restored version of Satyajit Ray's classic film Nayak, starring Uttam Kumar, will be re-released on February 21.
The film will celebrate its 59th anniversary in 2025 and will be screened across major Indian cities including Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, and Chennai.
The restoration has upgraded the film to a pristine 2K resolution quality which has already been showcased in over 40 countries worldwide.
It will come with English subtitles.

'Nayak' re-release coincides with significant milestones
The re-release of Nayak also comes on the heels of some major milestones for its stars.
This year is Kumar's pre-centenary year, while Sharmila Tagore, who also starred in the film, turned 80 on December 8 last year.
Speaking about her happiness over the re-release, Tagore had said, "I am overjoyed. Another generation will get an opportunity to see the film on the big screen."
