The streaming giant has allegedly secured the rights for a whopping ₹45cr. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding this development yet. The film is directed by Vivek Athreya and also features SJ Suryah, Aditi Balan, and Priyanka Arulmohan in key roles.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is a significant milestone in Nani's career as it is his most expensive pan-India film, produced on a budget of ₹90cr. The film has been backed by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment, with music composed by Jakes Bejoy. Despite the hefty production cost, the film has not disappointed at the box office, earning an estimated ₹43cr in its first eight days across India.
'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' achieved success beyond Indian borders
In addition to its domestic success, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram has also made waves in North America. The film's advanced booking was available in over 180 locations and it managed to collect a total of US $60,157 by selling more than 2,900 tickets. This achievement propelled the film past the one million dollar mark at the North American box office.
Nani's insights into the making of 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram'
In a previous interview, Nani shared his thoughts on Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. He stated, "In Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, we have built a very good story, with a few adrenaline-pumping moments." "According to the story, 30% of such moments would be enough, but we took it to 90% to reach out to a larger audience." Following the success of this film, Nani is now preparing for his next project Hit: The Third Case.
