Despite the typical weekday dip in collections, the film's occupancy rates remained strong, particularly for Telugu shows.
'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' collects ₹2.75cr on 6th day
On its sixth day, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram added ₹2.75 crore to its India net collection across all languages. This brings the film's total earnings at the Indian box office to around ₹39.75 crore. Its day five collection on the first Monday was ₹3.5 crore. On Tuesday, the film had a 21.04% occupancy in Telugu markets, with evening and night shows drawing larger crowds.
Film's plot revolves around Nani's character, Surya
Saripodhaa Sanivaaram follows the story of Nani's character, Surya, a man driven by his quest for justice due to his volatile nature. Every Saturday, Surya takes matters into his own hands, targeting goons with a ruthless sense of vengeance. Eventually, this sets him on a collision course with a corrupt police officer, portrayed by SJ Suryah.
'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' also stars Priyanka Mohan, Sai Kumar, among others
The film also stars Priyanka Mohan, with supporting performances from Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, Aditi Balan, and Harshavardhan. The film's music is composed by Jakes Bejoy. Moreover, with an estimated budget of ₹90 crore, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is reportedly the costliest film of Nani's career so far. It's his first release of the year.
