Ever since Sara Ali Khan has been roped in for Imtiaz Ali's Aaj Kal opposite Kartik Aaryan, the lady has become the talk of the town. But this time the Kedarnath actress has bagged the headlines for all the wrong reasons. According to the media reports, a police complaint has been filed against Sara for riding a pillion without helmet during the movie's shooting.

Reportedly, an anonymous complainant has filed the police complaint against Sara for violating the traffic rules. The reports also suggested that after the complaint was registered, the Delhi Traffic Police asked for details about the actress. Further, an official stated that necessary action would be taken against her under the Motor Vehicles Act after the required investigation is done in the case.

Sara, Kartik shot for 'Aaj Kal' in Delhi

To recall, a few days back Sara and Kartik were spotted shooting for the movie's first schedule in Delhi. In fact, a video of the couple enjoying a bike ride also went viral. In the video, Kartik, who was riding the bike, wore a helmet, while Sara was sitting behind him, without the same.

Sara got trolled for not wearing helmet

Soon after the video went viral, Sara was trolled mercilessly for not wearing the gear and violating the road safety rules. Amid the backlash, there were some of her fans who defended her on social media. "To all the brainless, jobless idiots: it's a movie set and you have special permissions, road rules don't apply," an Instagram user wrote, supporting the actress.

Meanwhile, Sara has also been roped in for the Bollywood remake of Coolie No. 1 remake opposite Varun Dhawan. Notably, the movie will be the adaptation of Govinda starrer 1995 release Coolie No. 1. The news was confirmed by writer Farhad Samji, who said, "It's a boon for any writer to work with Varun. I'm looking forward to teaming up with Sara again."
