Sara Ali clocks one year in Bollywood, shares touching post
One of tinsel town's favorite new kids on the block, Sara Ali Khan has completed one year in Bollywood. Yes, on this very day, her debut film Kedarnath had hit the theaters. On the special occasion, the 24-year-old actor shared a heartfelt post, expressing gratitude toward the film's team, her first co-star Sushant Singh Rajput, and of course, her audiences. 'Kedarnath' was set against the backdrop of devastating 2013 floods
Released in 2018, Kedarnath was written by Kanika Dhillon and Abhishek Kapoor and directed by Kapoor. It portrayed the love story of a Hindu Brahmin girl (Sara) and a Muslim porter (Sushant), set against the backdrop of the devastating Kedarnath floods of 2013.

Sharing several pictures from the sets of the movie, a seemingly excited Sara penned a heart-warming Instagram post, thanking Kapoor, Dhillon, Sushant, and Assistant Director Jehan Handa. She wrote, "I can't believe it's been a year since everyone met Mukku (Sara's character in the movie) for the first time. Kedarnath has been and will always remain an integral part of me."
'To people who've accepted me, given me so much love'
Sara added, "Sushant, I truly appreciate all that you did to support me and help me consistently throughout this journey, I couldn't have asked for a better Pithoo [porter]." "And thank you to all the people that have accepted me, given me so much love and allowed me to be a humble part of the Indian film industry for a year now," she summed.

Then, Sara went on to act in Rohit Shetty's 'Simmba'
After Kedarnath, Sara, who is the daughter of Bollywood veterans Saif Ali Khan and his first wife Amrita Singh, went on to feature in Rohit Shetty's blockbuster cop drama Simmba, wherein she shared screen space with Ranveer Singh.
Sara has two exciting films coming up
Now, Sara has two major films in the pipeline. She will next be seen in Imtiaz Ali's untitled romantic film, alongside Kartik Aaryan. Imtiaz has booked the coming Valentine's Day (February 14, 2020) for the much-awaited release. Thereafter, Sara will appear on the silver screen with Varun Dhawan in David Dhawan's comedy movie Coolie No. 1. It will release on May 1, 2020.
