Details
Paresh shares his experience of working with Hirani, Ranbir
In an interaction with a publication, Paresh Rawal said, "It's chiefly a father-son story. The film is Sanjay Dutt-Sunil Dutt's story. The experience has been amazing because of Rajkumar Hirani-Abhijat Joshi's writing and because of Ranbir Kapoor's acting."
"Fortunately, I'm playing a character which doesn't have a set mannerism, idiosyncrasy. He was very human. He didn't have any air about his stardom," he added.
Context
Interestingly, Paresh wasn't Hirani's first choice to play Sunil Dutt
Hirani first offered the part of Sanju's late father to Aamir Khan.
"He wanted me to play Dutt saab's role. It's a fantastic role. But Sanju's role is unbelievable. I told Raju that Sanju's role is so wonderful it won my heart and thus, I can't do any other role but that. So, don't offer me anything," Aamir told a news agency.
