'Sanju': Manisha Koirala takes us through her transformation into Nargis
Besides Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt, we are eager to see an array of others actors as well in Rajkumar Hirani's 'Sanju' and Manisha Koirala is one of them. Manisha is portraying Sanju's mother Nargis Dutt in the biopic. She recently took to Instagram to share her very many looks as the late iconic actor.

How did she prepare for her role
Speaking to a news agency, Manisha said that she has always been a spontaneous actor and this was the first time that she did some research work. She reveals that the film focuses on Nargis, the doting mother who wanted to protect her son from the truth about her ill health. Notably, Nargis had passed away due to cancer before Sanju's debut film 'Rocky' released.
It was not easy for Manisha at all
Being a cancer survivor herself, it was a daunting task for her to go through the traumatic experience once again. Recalling the shooting days, Manisha said that the character required a lot of inner strength but it was all worth it, as Nargis was such an iconic figure. "I've tried to capture her essence, the core of her being," she said.

'Sanju' will be out on June 29
The film chronicles the highs and the lows of Sanju's life and is all set to hit the screens on June 29. It also features Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Anushka Sharma in pivotal roles.
