'Sanju' enters Rs. 100 crore club, smashes opening weekend record
On a record-breaking spree since day one, Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Sanju' has zoomed past the Rs. 100 crore mark in three days flat. Thus, the Rajkumar Hirani directorial has dethroned Salman Khan's 'Race 3' as the highest opening weekend grosser of 2018. 'Sanju' raked in a staggering Rs. 120.06 crore in the first three days while 'Race 3' brought in Rs. 106.47 crore till Sunday.

'Sanju' demolishes the 'highest single day' record of 'Baahubali 2'
The biopic of Sanjay Dutt has done the unimaginable. With Rs. 46.72 crore coming in on Sunday, 'Sanju' has recorded the highest single day collection for a Hindi film. Previously, the record was held by Prabhas starrer 'Baahubali 2' which amassed Rs. 46.50 crore on the third day of its release.

The last few years were not particularly good for the Kapoor lad as his movies failed to live up to the expectations. Therefore, 'Sanju' was akin to an acid test for him and he has come out with flying colors. The film did not only earn him his career-best reviews but has also set the box office on fire.
