Sanjay Dutt is not being able to fathom that a fan has left all her belongings for him after she passed away on 15 January this year.
Nishi Harishchandra Tripathi, a Malabar Hill resident, named the actor as the inheritor of her wealth in the documents sent to the bank and also gave his residential address.

The development shocked Dutt as well as her family
Tripathi, who is survived by her 80-year-old mother and three siblings, was battling a terminal disease.
Though her family was aware of her love for Munnabhai but did not know the extent of it.
The details of Tripathi leaving her everything to Dutt was revealed by the bank officers and her lawyer, post the prayer meet for her demise.

"As actors, we are used to fans naming their children after us, chasing us down the street and giving us gifts. But this has shocked me. I did not know Nishi and I am overwhelmed by the entire incident to speak about it," Dutt said.

The actor came to know about the incident while he was shooting for 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3' in Kolkata.
He has decided to not claim anything and will transfer the ownership of all her belongings to her bereaved family.
His lawyer Subhash Jadhav said that the star will carry out all the legal proceedings to make the transition.
