In Lucknow for film's shoot, Sanjay Dutt meets UP CM
Sanjay Dutt, who is currently immersed in the shooting of his upcoming film 'Prassthanam' in Lucknow, took some time off from the busy schedule to meet Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The 58-year-old actor was accompanied by producer Rahul Mittra who is bankrolling Sanju's forthcoming films 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3' and 'Torbaaz'. Here are the details.
The meeting went on for 30 odd minutes
During the meet, Sanju told Yogi that his maternal grandmother Jaddan Bibi hailed from a village called Chilbila near Allahabad. He also offered to adopt the village to which the CM agreed happily. On the other hand, Mittra suggested a film festival in the state. Also present at the meeting were Principal Secretary Awneesh Awasthi and other top officials from the state.
Meanwhile, Sanju currently has an interesting line-up of films
Sanju is all set for a new inning of his filmy career. Besides 'Prassthanam', 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3' and 'Torbaaz', he also has multi-starrers 'Kalank' and 'Total Dhamaal' in his kitty. Post that, he will be seen in Ranbir Kapoor's 'Shamshera' in a negative role. The third installment of the 'Munna Bhai' series has also been confirmed by Rajkumar Hirani.
