Samantha Ruth Prabhu is set to captivate audiences with her role in the highly-anticipated spy thriller, Citadel: Honey Bunny. Amid the excitement, reports have surfaced suggesting a significant hike in the actor's remuneration for the series. According to Siasat, Prabhu has commanded a staggering ₹10 crore as her fee for the show helmed by the visionary Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, collectively called Raj & DK.

Prabhu aside, Honey Bunny also stars Varun Dhawan in the lead and Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saqib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher in pivotal roles. The series is set to release on November 7 on Amazon Prime Video. The storyline of the eagerly awaited series merges elements of a gritty spy action thriller with a love story, set against the backdrop of the 1990s.

Citadel: Honey Bunny is an Indian series within the larger Citadel universe, originally headlined by Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden. The show was announced earlier this year at a special event by Prime Video. Amazon Prime Video also revealed that these spin-offs would be set in various locations including Spain, Italy, and Mexico, with Chopra Jonas's series serving as the central hub connecting all narratives.
Prabhu praised co-star's dedication in 'Citadel' series
The teaser of Honey Bunny was recently released, and Prabhu shared her experience working with co-star Dhawan. She praised his dedication to work and his positive attitude on set, stating, "All he thinks about from the moment he wakes up is how to improve his craft." She further added that in Citadel, Dhawan has brought a completely new vision to his role, particularly in the action scenes.
