Not Priyanka, Salman to romance Katrina in Bhansali's next directorial?
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are one of the most sizzling onscreen pairs and their chemistry is impeccable. While fans are excited to watch them in Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat, it is reported that Salman and Katrina will also be pairing up for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next directorial. Reportedly, Salman recommended Katrina for his much-awaited reunion movie with Bhansali.
Salman to reunite with Bhansali after two decades
For the uninitiated, Salman and Bhansali will be collaborating with each other after two decades. They had last worked together in 1999 release Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. And, now there are reports that Salman and Bhansali would be collaborating for a love story. It was also stated that it will be titled as Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam 2.
Salman is keen to romance Katrina again
According to a report published in Pinkvilla, Salman is keen on romancing Katrina in Bhansali's upcoming directorial. Hence, he recommended her to Bhansali for Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam 2. Meanwhile, Katrina was earlier in talks with Bhansali for his 2015 release Bajirao Mastani and also auditioned for the same. However, things didn't work out for her back then.
Will Katrina replace Priyanka again?
Separately, there have been reports that Priyanka Chopra is also in talks with Bhansali for a movie. But if the recent reports are to believed, Katrina is likely to replace Priyanka in the movie because of Salman. If the reports turned out to be true, this will be the second time Kat would replace Priyanka. Earlier, she had stepped into Priyanka's shoes for Bharat.
Salman and Katrina wraps up 'Bharat'
While Bhansali is yet to announce the female lead, speculations about the lead actress continue to be rife. Meanwhile, Salman and Katrina are gearing up for their first release of the year - Bharat. In fact, the two have recently wrapped up the shooting for Salman's home production which also stars Tabu, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover in key roles.
