Alia roped in for Salman-Bhansali's 'Inshallah', calls it dream-come-true moment
The cat is finally out of the bag. Putting a stop to all the rumors about the female lead of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next, Alia Bhatt took to Twitter to announce that she has been finalized for the movie titled Inshallah. The young actress will be romancing superstar Salman Khan in the movie. While confirming the news, Alia said it was a dream-come-true moment.

Alia is over the moon happy for bagging her first Bhansali film, and she can't stop gushing about it. She was all praises for Salman and Bhansali in her tweet. "Dream with your eyes wide open they say & I did. Sanjay Sir and Salman Khan are magical together & I can't wait to join them on this beautiful journey called Inshallah," Alia tweeted.

Furthermore, Alia stated that she had waited for around 17 years to fulfill her dream of working with Bhansali. She recalled how she entered Bhansali's office for the first time when she was 9, and expressed her wish to work with the ace filmmaker. "I was all nervous. Hoping and praying that I'd be in his next. It's been a long wait," Alia added.
Salman, Bhansali to collaborate after 20 years for 'Inshallah'
Inshallah will not only mark Alia's first collaboration with Bhansali, but will also unite Salman with the filmmaker after 20 long years. They had last teamed for Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Sharing his excitement and welcoming Alia, Salman tweeted, "It's been 20 years but I'm glad Sanjay and I are finally back in his next film, Inshallah. Looking forward to working with Alia."

'Inshallah' to hit the floors in September?
Meanwhile, reports are abuzz that Inshallah will hit the floors in September after Salman wraps up Dabangg 3. Reportedly, he will have a start-to-finish schedule for Dabangg 3 and is expected to wrap it up in September. Interestingly, Salman was supposed to do another cop-drama after Dabangg 3 but looks like he has changed his plans and gave Bhansali's movie his green signal.
Alia's next movie 'Kalank' will release on April 27
Currently, Salman is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited film Bharat opposite Katrina Kaif. The movie is slated for an Eid release. Meanwhile, Alia is looking forward to the release of Karan Johar's multi-starrer production Kalank, which will hit the screens on April 17. Helmed by Abhishek Varman, Kalank also stars Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt and Varun Dhawan, among others.
