Salman pays 'Dabangg 3' co-star's medical expenses, latter overwhelmed
Salman Khan's Dabangg 3 co-star Dadhi Pandey, who had suffered a heart attack lately, thanked the superstar for his help in the hour of need. Reportedly, the Sultan actor had borne Pandey's medical expenses after he was hospitalized a month ago. Overwhelmed by Salman's noble gesture, Dadhi expressed his gratitude, and stated, "He is a very kind-hearted person. He's a great man." Here's more.
The superstar also kept a track of Pandey's recovery
According to a SpotboyE report, Pandey suffered a heart attack in his Mumbai residence following which he was rushed to one hospital and was shifted to another later. He was kept in ICU for a couple of days. After Salman got to know about his ailing co-star, he sent his team to help Pandey, while also keeping a track of his recovery, reports said.
Pandey is yet to meet or talk to Salman
Pandey, who plays the role of a constable in Dabangg 3, however hasn't met or spoken to Salman post the incident, the report added. Currently, doctors have advised him bed rest for a couple of days. He will shoot his portions for the movie post his recovery. Pandey said he's also thankful to the entire Dabangg 3 team for adjusting shooting schedules for him.
I survived the ordeal because of Salman, says Pooja
Notably, this isn't the first time that Salman came to the aid of an artist. Last year, the Bharat actor had extended help to his Veergati co-star Pooja Dadwal, who was suffering from tuberculosis, and paid her medical expenses. "I'm really thankful to Salman who lent me the support. If I survived the ordeal, it is only because of him," she had said.
For now, he's busy with 'Dabangg 3'; 'Inshallah' is next
On the work front, Salman is currently shooting for the third installment of his popular cop drama franchise Dabangg. He will be seen reprising the role of super cop Chulbul Pandey in the movie. Besides this, the superstar will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming directorial Inshallah opposite Alia Bhatt. Reportedly, the movie will hit floors in October this year.
