Now Salman to woo China with 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'
Following the footsteps of Aamir Khan, whose 'Dangal' and 'Secret Superstar' turned out to be huge money-spinners in China, Salman Khan is all set to release his blockbuster film 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' in the neighboring country. The Kabir Khan directorial will open in China on Friday and going by the merits of the film, it is expected to put up some solid numbers.
Salman's arguably best work till date
'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' is considered as Bhai's best film till date. The film that also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Harshaali Malhotra, narrates the story of an ardent Hanuman follower who illegally crosses the border to reunite a six-year-old Pakistani girl with her family. Upon its release in India in 2015, the film went on to do a massive business of Rs. 320 crore.
Aamir emerged the 'Secret Superstar' of China
After '3 Idiots' and 'PK' did well in China, Aamir's 'Dangal' too was expected to enjoy a similar run. But the kind of numbers it went on to do in China, surprised the superstar as well. It did a humongous business of Rs. 1,200 crore plus in the neighboring country. Post that, 'Secret Superstar' too rocked the Chinese box office.
