Salman releases book on wildlife & irony couldn't contain itself
Once a prime accused in a poaching case, Salman Khan has now launched a book on wildlife written by politician-actor Beena Kak. While launching the photo-book titled 'Silent Sentinels Of Ranthambhore' in Mumbai, Salman, in a rather self deprecating manner, said, "The less I talk about this topic, the better it is." The entire event is pretty ironical, to say the least.
Salman' s ugly past with wildlife
Salman was accused of illegally hunting endangered blackbuck and chinkara deer while filming 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' along with Saif Ali Khan and Sonali Bendre in Rajasthan in 1998. He was summoned by the court in four separate cases in connection to this, three of which he has been acquitted in. Irony must have ran over itself when Salman launched that book on wildlife.
Times are changing and so is Salman!
It's hard to believe that Salman, who was accused of killing a blackbuck, is an animal-lover. Also, Salman has mellowed down a lot, he is a much calmer person now as compared to what he was 10 years back. With age, he has become wiser and now works towards the development of the economically-deprived section of the society. May the force be with him!
