    What's the story

Apart from just acting, Salman Khan likes to be a part of the various aspects of film-making.

He has already turned a producer, a singer, a lyricist and a distributor.

And now, the superstar is all set to launch his own single screen theatre chain - Salman Talkies - in Maharashtra.

    Here's more about it.

    Details

    Salman's long-pending dream

Salman has been meaning to come up with his theatre chain since 2016 but things did not fall in place for him earlier.

Speaking about the same, he said that his team was in talks with Eros International for the longest time but nothing was materialized as his terms and conditions were not met. Eventually the deal fell through.

    Plans

The theatres will be opened in the outskirts of Mumbai

Salman has been voicing his concerns about the ever-increasing ticket prices for a long time. This endeavor is his attempt to counter the issue.

At present, the theatres will be opened in the outskirts of Mumbai and will gradually be expanded to other states over the next few years.

Salman has already met with producers, distributors and exhibitors in this regard.
