Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was recently spotted leaving his Bandra abode, Galaxy Apartments, for the first time since a shocking gunfire incident occurred outside his home over the weekend. The actor was seen in a white Nissan Patrol Bulletproof SUV, accompanied by several police vans on Monday evening. This comes amid the news that two men who allegedly fired the shots were arrested in Bhuj, Gujarat.
2 accused nabbed are associated with Lawrence Bishnoi's gang
The unsettling event involved two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle who fired shots at Khan's family residence. The two accused arrested on Monday have been identified as Vicky Sahab Gupta (24) and Sagar Shrijogendra Pal (21), associated with jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's gang. Earlier, Khan's brother, Arbaaz Khan, gave a statement on behalf of the family on Instagram. He stated, "The recent incident of firing by two unidentified people on a motorcycle at Galaxy apartment...is very disturbing and unnerving."
Several celebrities visited Khan's residence post-incident
Following the gunfire incident, numerous celebrities and prominent figures visited Khan's residence to express their concerns. Among the visitors were actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar, Arbaaz and wife Sshura Khan, Sohail Khan, Aayush Sharma, and Arpita Khan. Khan's father, Salim Khan, commented on the situation, saying, "There is nothing to tell. They just want publicity; there is no need to worry."
Khan family considering relocation after shooting incident?
The alarming event has sparked speculation that the Khan family may be considering a move for safety reasons. An insider close to the family told Zoom that Salim has suggested relocating from their current home to a more secure location. However, Khan is reportedly unfazed by the episode and has expressed his desire to stick to his work schedule without giving undue attention to the incident or the shooters.
Meanwhile, Khan has several projects lined up
The actor recently unveiled his upcoming film project titled Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the movie is scheduled for release in Eid 2025. Aside from this, the Bhai of Bollywood has The Bull in the making with Karan Johar. He is also keen to join Boney Kapoor's Wanted 2.
