Salman's former co-star seeks his financial help for TB treatment
Actress Pooja Dadwal, who was seen in Salman Khan starrer 'Veergati', is suffering from Tuberculosis and trying to reach out to the superstar for help. As per media reports, she is admitted to Mumbai's Shivdi hospital and does not have enough funds to go through with her treatment. Pooja had starred opposite Atul Agnihotri in the 1995 film.
Here's what Pooja told a leading publication
"I tried to contact Salman for help, but nothing has been done so far. If he looks at my video then maybe he will try to help. I have no money at all, I depend on others for even a cup of tea," she said.
Her family has reportedly refused to help
Media reports also said that Pooja's husband and in-laws have abandoned her after getting to know of her illness and she now has to bear all the medical expenses herself. Notably, her Bollywood career failed to take off post 'Veergati' and she had to resort to doing B-grade films like 'Inteqaam', 'Madam No. 1' and 'Jeene Nahi Doongi'.
