Salman begins 45-day marathon shoot for 'Sikandar' in Mumbai: Report
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has reportedly begun a 45-day marathon shooting schedule for his upcoming highly-anticipated film Sikandar. The film, directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is scheduled to release on Eid 2025. It also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles. The shooting is taking place at a large set in Mumbai, which took over three months to construct, reported Pinkvilla.
'Sikandar' to feature action, emotional, and dramatic sequences
According to a source close to the development, the Mumbai set for Sikandar is a recreation of local parts of the city. The source revealed that this schedule is crucial as it involves shooting action, emotional, and dramatic sequences. "Salman is looking forward to the high-octane moments under the direction of AR Murugadoss," the source said. Mandanna, Sathyaraj, and Prateik Babbar will also be part of this schedule reportedly.
'Sikandar' team to shoot at palace for next schedule
After the Mumbai schedule—the Sikandar team plans to shoot at a palace in India for 15-20 days. "The team is in the process of identifying a palace which brings scale and rich production values to the film," the source added. In Sikandar, Khan will be seen in the titular role. "He is a Sikandar in a true sense, coming from a family of kings," a previous report had stated. This "bad boy" space for Khan was last explored in Sultan.
