    What's the story

After the stupendous success of its first three installments, 'Dhoom 4' has been one of the most anticipated movies, of late.

It has been in talks for over a year now, and there were a lot of speculations about the star cast.

There were reports that Salman Khan will be playing the lead antagonist.

However, he has now revealed he won't be a part of the movie. Here's why.

    'Dhoom 4'

Salman was in talks with Aditya Chopra for 'Dhoom 4'

Reports stated that Salman was taken aboard for the movie by YRF head honcho, Aditya Chopra soon after 'Race 3'.

It was also reported that 'Dhoom 4' was to be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and it would be released in 2020.

In fact, gossip mills were abuzz about Salman sporting long hair in the movie along with a scar on his face.

    The fight?

But, we all know Salman has a history with Abhishek

However, as per the recent buzz, Salman has walked out of 'Dhoom 4'.

While the reports left his fans disappointed, it was stated that Salman walked out of the movie owing to his differences with Abhishek Bachchan.

Reportedly, Salman didn't want to share the screen space with AB who plays the role of ACP Jai Dixit in the 'Dhoom' series.

    The cast

Salman left 'Dhoom 4' because of Abhishek, said reports

Salman, reportedly, doesn't share cordial terms with Abhishek owing to his past with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

The makers couldn't fulfil Salman's demand of not having a single frame with Abhishek as both the characters are pivotal for the movie.

Besides, Abhishek has been associated with the 'Dhoom' franchise since its inception.

So, Salman left the movie, multiple reports claimed.

    Inhibitions

Salman said he doesn't want to play villain on silver-screen

But contrary to reports, Abhishek has nothing to do with Salman's exit from 'Dhoom 4'.

Recent media reports claim that the actor doesn't want to play a villain onscreen, which is why he left the movie.

Salman has a massive fan base who follows him blindly and he fears that his villainous role might send a wrong message to his fans.

Whatever be the reason, he is not a part of 'Dhoom 4'. That's now confirmed.

    SRK in 'Dhoom 4'

Shah Rukh Khan to play antagonist in 'Dhoom 4'?

Post Salman's exit from 'Dhoom 4', there have been speculations about the new villain of the movie.

Rumors are rife about YRF signing superstar Shah Rukh Khan as the new villain of the 'Dhoom' franchise.

However, YRF has vehemently rubbished the reports and cited them as baseless rumors

"Work in 'Dhoom 4' hasn't started yet. There's no truth these rumors," a YRF spokesperson clarified.
