From wedding to 'Bharat', what Salman said at BB12 launch
'Bigg Boss 12' was launched by host Salman Khan in Goa on Tuesday; it was then followed by a press conference. With Salman as its host (this is his sixth time), 'Bigg Boss' has gained immense popularity. At the launch, he got candid about BB, his wedding, second host, SRK and 'Bharat'. Here's what he said at the BB12 launch.
Salman was not the first choice for BB host
We all have loved Salman as the BB host and his presence makes 'Weekend ka Vaar' more interesting. Surprisingly, he wasn't the first choice of makers for the show. During the launch, Salman revealed that it was Shah Rukh Khan who was first approached for BB. "He had a shoulder injury and so BB came to me. I thank him for this," he said.
Salman on 'Bigg Boss 12' theme
Each year, 'Bigg Boss' comes up with a unique theme and for the twelfth season it happens to be 'Vichitra Jodi'. BB12 will witness some unique pairs entering the house and ensuring high-end drama on show. "There are so many kinds of jodis. Naagin-sapera, boy-boy, girl-girl. There is no Aadhaar to enter BB; only criteria that the jodi has to be vichitra," Salman said.
Will Katrina Kaif be the second host of BB12?
For a while now, there have been reports about Katrina Kaif co-hosting BB12 with Salman. Notably, he dismissed the reports and said, "Katrina must have spread those rumors herself". He revealed that Katrina had inquired about the BB12 theme and joked about doing it with him but with a condition. She wanted the same fees as him, saying 'What's your price is my price!'
Salman opens up on his wedding
Salman's wedding has been a big topic of discussion and he is often questioned about it. During the launch, he stated that he is planning to marry BB. "Earlier people used to ask me when are you getting married? Now, they ask me if I am hosting BB? I am thinking of getting married to BB, there are various advantages to it," he joked.
On Priyanka Chopra's exit from 'Bharat'
Priyanka Chopra created a buzz lately when she walked out of Salman's 'Bharat'. During the launch, he took a dig at her exit. He revealed that she herself had called director Ali Abbas Zafar to be a part of 'Bharat'. Talking about her exit, he said, "It was sweet of her to tell us five days before the shoot that she couldn't do Bharat."
