Salman Khan gets mired in land dispute with NRI couple
In what has come as yet another hindrance for Salman Khan and his family, an NRI couple has accused the superstar of not letting them obtain electricity from his property Arpita Farms which they claim is rightfully theirs. The couple, Ketan and Ankita Kakkad, along with their lawyer Abha Singh, has alleged that the Khans have even barred them from entering the property.
The Kukkads organized a press conference to level the allegations
Sharing the details of the matter, the Kukkads, during their press conference, stated that Salman and his staff are not letting them construct an electric pole and are obstructing their path. On the other hand, Salman's lawyer has claimed that the Khans have not done anything illegal and that the accusers are just trying to capitalize on their name.
The ball seems to be in Salman's court
Intervening in the dispute, forest minister Sudhir Mungantiwar has refuted the claims made by the Kukkads and Abha against the 'Dabangg' actor. He said that nobody is above the law and dubbed all the allegations as baseless.
Meanwhile, Salman is about to start 'Bharat' shoot
Last seen in Remo D'Souza's 'Race 3' that did not do the expected business at the box office, Salman will now move on to Ali Abbas Zafar's 'Bharat'. Co-starring Priyanka Chopra, Disha Patani, Tabu, the film is being bankrolled by Salman's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and will release on Eid next year.
