After basking in the success of Ranveer Singh-starrer Simmba, director Rohit Shetty is planning another cop drama with one of the famous "cops of Bollywood," Chulbul Pandey. Rohit's film might take off from where 'Kick' ended
Reportedly, Rohit's cop drama, to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is still in the ideation stage, on which the team is currently brainstorming. "Among the many ideas they have discussed, one is a spin-off to Salman's Kick character. The film had an open ending with Salman donning the uniform. If things go as planned, it could be the take-off for Rohit's film," sources informed.

Salman-Rohit's cop drama to hit the floors this year-end
Separately, according to a Mumbai Mirror report, this cop drama will hit the floors by 2019 end and is likely to release on Christmas 2020. Reportedly, Salman will begin preparing for it after wrapping up Bharat and Dabangg 3. Interestingly, Dabangg 3 will also have Salman a.k.a Chulbul donning the khaki vardi. Needless to say, Salman's Robinhood image in Dabangg series drives audience crazy.
Currently, Rohit Shetty is busy with Akshay's 'Sooryavanshi'
Meanwhile, Rohit is busy extending his cop universe with Akshay Kumar-starrer Sooryavanshi, which was announced during Simmba's climax. Reportedly, Sooryavanshi will hit the floors this June and will feature Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn in an extended cameo as Bhalerao Sangram and Bajirao Singham, respectively. With Salman also joining Rohit's cop universe, we wonder if he too will have a cameo in Sooryavanshi.
