Salman Khan finally addresses death threats from Lawrence Bishnoi
What's the story
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has finally spoken candidly about the death threats he has received from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's gang.
The threats are allegedly connected to his 1998 Blackbuck poaching case.
At a press conference for his upcoming film Sikandar, Khan said, "Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai. Bas yahi hai. (God, Allah, everything is up to him. I will live as long as I am destined to live. That's it)."
Security measures
'Have to walk with so many people that...'
Khan's life has been greatly impacted by these threats, prompting the need for enhanced security.
The actor's home now has a large bulletproof glass panel on the balcony.
Moreover, Khan has to be accompanied by security personnel all the time, something he also talked about.
"Kabhi kabhi itne logon ko saath mein leke chalna padta hai, bas wahi problem ho jaati hai (Sometimes I have to walk with so many people that it becomes a problem)," he said.
Daily life
Khan's routine was altered due to threats
Khan revealed that his daily routine has been changed owing to the threats.
He only travels between his home and film sets, he said, "I am not worried when I am with the press, but when I am without the press, that cramps my style. Now it's all about Galaxy (home) to shoot and from shoot to Galaxy (home), nothing else."
