Salman Khan extends support to choreographer Saroj Khan
Days after Saroj Khan confessed that she is running out of work in Bollywood, superstar Salman Khan came out to help the veteran choreographer. According to the media reports, Saroj claimed that the industrywalas are not interested in working with her anymore. Soon after her statement went viral, Salman met Saroj and offered her to work with him in his future projects. Here's more.
Saroj was replaced in 'Thugs Of Hindostan' because of Katrina
It all started after Saroj revealed that she was replaced with Prabhudeva in Thugs Of Hindostan because of actress Katrina Kaif. Katrina had, reportedly, refused to do the song without rehearsals. "There was a chance of collaborating on ToH. But as the shoot was coming up, Katrina told the makers she wouldn't do the song without rehearsals," Saroj recalled.
Saroj knows Salman will keep his word
Later, when Salman met Saroj, he asked her about present projects. After Saroj told her that she had no offers in hand, Salman replied, "Now, you will work with me." Certainly, Saroj was overwhelmed with Salman's gesture and is looking forward to collaborating with him. "I know he is a man of his word, so he will keep his promise," Saroj added.
Saroj to choreograph a song in 'Dabangg 3'
Reportedly, Salman has asked Saroj to choreograph one of the songs for his home production Dabangg 3. Interestingly, this will not be the first time that Salman would be working with Saroj. They had earlier worked in movies like Biwi Ho Toh Aisi and Andaz Apna Apna. However, Salman-Saroj reportedly had a major fallout in the mid-90s after the choreographer chose Aamir over him.
Saroj choreographed Madhuri in 'Kalank'
Meanwhile, Saroj has choreographed a song in Karan Johar's Kalank which features Madhuri Dixit. "Four years after Gulaab Gang, I've choreographed another song for Madhuri. Madhuri and I danced our hearts out and I'm hopeful that after seeing it, people will remember Saroj Khan again," the veteran choreographer stated. Helmed by Abhishek Varman, Kalank is slated to release on April 17, 2019.
