Salman Khan completes three decades in Bollywood, reminisces his journey
Nobody would have thought that a 23-year-old boy, who made his debut in Bollywood with a supporting role in 'Biwi Ho Toh Aisi' (1988), will one day rule the industry. Salman Khan, arguably the biggest superstar of our times, has defied notions at every stage of his career. As he successfully completes three decades of acting, he reminisces his journey up till here.
He feels nothing has changed in the last 30 years
Salman became an overnight star with Sooraj Barjatya's 'Maine Pyar Kiya' that released in 1989. And he feels that nothing much has changed since then. "Maybe the films that I did back then, did not make so much money, but the producers still profited from them," he said. Also, Salman thinks that all those films were the best of the lot.
Salman cherishes spending time with his family
"I feel like I signed 'Maine Pyar Kiya' day before yesterday, it released yesterday and I am doing an interview today for my next film. I never had free time because I utilize that time to work and spend it with my family," Salman said.
He never knew where life would take him
Salman says that he had no idea about how life would be at 52. "I never actually thought of all these things. I took everything as it came to me and lived by the day," he said. He believes that the best way to be is to give your best shot in every moment and leave the rest to God.
Meanwhile, 'Race 3' has set the cash registers ringing
Salman's big-ticket Eid release is wrecking havoc at the box office. The Remo D'Souza directorial zoomed past the Rs. 100 crore mark in just three days and is going strong on the weekdays too.
