Salman buys expensive-SUV for mother, but she can't use it
Salman Khan is a typical family man who can walk miles for his Khandaan. He doesn't leave a chance to splurge on his family members when he wishes to. So when his mother Salma thought of purchasing a simple car, he took it upon himself and ended up getting her a luxurious SUV. But sadly, she is unable to use this car.
Salman surprised mommy with a new car, 'she was ecstatic'
Reportedly, Salma was planning to buy a normal car for her daily roundabouts and was still thinking about which car to finalize. However, the Sultan actor, being the doting son that he is, surprised his mother by buying a top class SUV for her. "When she saw the car parked in the garage, she was ecstatic and happy," a report published in Pinkvilla stated.
Car was high for Salma, so accessing it was difficult
It was indeed a heart-warming gesture. But, much to Salman's disappointment, Salma hasn't been able to use it. Reportedly, the new top-of-the-line SUV is too tall for Salma, and so, she faces problems getting in and off the car. As a result, Salma, saves her the inconvenience, and avoids using the car for everyday work.
Salman loves gifting cars to his loved ones
Interestingly, this isn't the first time that Salman gifted a luxury vehicle to his loved ones. Earlier, the Tiger Zinda Hai actor had gifted an expensive SUV to ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif on her birthday in 2012. Besides, there were reports that Salman also gave a brand new Audi car worth Rs. 90 lakh to Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja as a wedding gift.
Salman gearing up for his first release of 2019
Meanwhile, Salman is busy wrapping up his first release of the year; Bharat. The movie is based on the Korean film An Ode To My Father. Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie is scheduled to release on Eid this year. Apart from Salman, Bharat will also star Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover, Tabu and Nora Fatehi in key roles.
