Salman Khan's 'Radhe' ready to hit theaters this Eid
Fans of actor Salman Khan who were eagerly waiting to see him on the big screens are rejoicing. The actor released a new poster on Saturday revealing that his film Radhe: Your Most-Wanted Bhai, will release in theaters on May 13 coinciding with the festival of Eid. Khan, who's known to rule the box office with his Eid releases, is aiming for it again.
The poster shows Khan in a gritty avatar
The poster released by Khan to announce the release date shows him in a gritty avatar. The actor who has established himself as an action star carries the same look with a gun and a burning helicopter in the background. The actor shared the news with the caption, "Eid ka commitment tha, Eid par hi aayenge kyun ki ek baar jo maine... (sic)"
'Salman Khan and Eid have a special connection'
A spokesperson from Khan's production house was quoted saying, "Salman Khan and Eid have a special connection and we at Salman Khan Films are happy to continue the tradition with Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai." "We are looking forward to bring back the era of clapping, cheering, whistling and the 'house-full' boards Salman Khan's movies are known for," the person added.
Third collaboration for Khan and Prabhu Deva
The much-anticipated film has reunited Khan and Prabhu Deva. The duo teamed up for Wanted and Dabangg 3 previously which turned out to be big blockbusters. Radhe, which is reportedly a remake of the South Korean film Veteran, also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda, and Jackie Shroff in important roles. The film has been produced by Khan, his brother Sohail, and his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri.
Khan has multiple projects in the pipeline
Khan recently started shooting for Tiger 3, the third installment in the Tiger series, opposite Katrina Kaif. Before that, he wrapped shooting for Antim. The film stars his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma as the antagonist. Apart from that, he will also be seen in Shah Rukh Khan's Pathan in an extended cameo. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles.
