Saif on working with Kareena: Real-life couples are less interesting
What's the story
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are all about loving each other, and there is no denying it.
As much as we love to see them together, Saif and Kareena haven't shared the big screen ever since they got married. They were last seen in 'Agent Vinod' in 2012.
But why?
Well, because Saif feels real-life couples are less interesting onscreen.
Saif's Statement
Comfort is the enemy of cinema
Interestingly, Saif and Kareena were given several offers to share the screen space. However, they didn't accept any.
It is just because Saifeena believes that the comfort between a couple is cinema's worst enemy.
"When you're comfortable with each other...comfort is the enemy of cinema. Discomfort and tension are what you want in scripts and everything," Saif was quoted as saying.
Saif's rule
Working with strangers is interesting for Saif
Adding further, Saif said that it's more interesting to work with strangers as the discomfort makes you give your perfect shot.
"Working with strangers is more interesting for the audience, and it's more interesting for us. It's a selfish profession," he added.
Though Saifeena has made the reasons clear, we wonder if any filmmaker can convince this hot couple to do a movie together.
