See photos: Saif Ali Khan meets MS Dhoni, Gordon Greenidge
Bollywood actor couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan went to watch the first ODI match between India and England in London. Their son Taimur accompanied them too. This was his first-ever live cricket match experience! Cricket is a sport that is close to Khan's family considering his late father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was an Indian Test cricketer. Here's how it went.
Khan's photo with MS Dhoni, Gordon Greenidge went viral
During their visit, Khan met the former captain of the Indian cricket team, MS Dhoni. He also met Gordon Greenidge, the legendary West Indies opener at The Oval stadium in London. The pictures soon went viral on social media with fans and followers of the actor and the cricketers gushing over them. Taimur's adorable photos shared by Kapoor Khan went viral, too.
Taimur was certainly dressed for the occasion
Kapoor Khan took to her Instagram Stories and shared a series of images from The Oval stadium. Among them was a photo of Taimur smartly dressed in a checkered shirt, blue denim, and sneakers with the cricket field in the background. Kapoor Khan shared the photo and wrote, "My first match (red heart emoji) India vs England (red heart emoji) (sic)."
While Khan, others smiled in photos, Taimur made adorable faces
In another photo shared by Kapoor Khan on her Instagram Stories, Taimur was seen seated next to his father and aunt Karishma Kapoor's son Kiaan Raj Kapoor. While everyone in the frame was either smiling or looking at the field, the little Pataudi made an adorable funny face. Sharing the photo, Kapoor Khan wrote, "What are you doing Tim? (sic)"
Khan's oldest son Ibrahim has shown interest in cricket
Separately, following in the footsteps of his legendary grandfather, Khan and his ex-wife Amrita Singh's son Ibrahim seems to have inherited Pataudi's exceptional cricket skills. His grandmother Sharmila Tagore previously appeared on Kapoor Khan's talk show where she spoke about his cricket skills and said, "Ibrahim is the only one who looks like a Pataudi. He is kind of tall and he likes cricket."
