Saif Ali Khan, who turned 49 yesterday, chose to have a low-key celebration this year. The Sacred Games 2 actor spent his special day with his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and son Taimur in London. Several pictures from their private party that have surfaced online gave us a sneak peek of the perfect outing Bollywood's Nawab had with his family on his birthday.

The Nawab of Pataudi is seen wearing a casual charcoal colored t-shirt and denim in the picture. On the other hand, Kareena, who is seen smiling while Saif slices through the cake, complemented her husband in a black ensemble.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Saif was recently seen in Sacred Games 2, which premiered on Netflix on August 15. He reprised his role of police inspector Sartaj Singh in the second season of the gangster-drama. Interestingly, Sacred Games had marked Saif's debut on the digital platform. Elated about it, he stated, "Some of the best work I've ever done is on that platform."
His upcoming releases to have stories of different genres
Saif will also be seen in Laal Kaptaan, Jawani Janeman and Bhoot Police. Each of his upcoming movies promises to bring something different on the plate for Saif and also for his audiences. For example, Laal Kaptaan is a story of deceit and revenge, while Jawani Janeman is a family comedy. Meanwhile, Fox Star Studios' production Bhoot Police will be a horror-comedy.
