Sai Dharam Tej resumes 'SDT15' shooting, six months after accident

Popular Telugu actor Sai Dharam Tej has resumed work almost six months after meeting with an accident.
Tej is currently working on his upcoming film, tentatively titled SDT15, and its shooting started on Tuesday in Hyderabad.
The team attached to the Karthik Dandu-directorial gave the actor a warm welcome and he was seen getting emotional in the videos posted on social media.

Why does this story matter?
To recall, Tej met with a bike accident last September and was in recovery for all these months.
The actor was riding his sports bike at a high speed when the vehicle skid and fell, showed the CCTV footage. He got dragged for a few meters on the road, too.
Thankfully, Tej was wearing a helmet but sustained a fracture in his collarbone.

Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra, which is bankrolling the action flick, shared a video on social media.
They wrote, "Here's inviting our Supreme Hero @IamSaiDharamTej with a surprise welcome from the cast & crew as he joins the sets of #SDT15 for the first day of shoot."
A teary-eyed Tej replied in the video, "Thank you so much for giving me such a warm welcome."

Besides the film's team, Tej's cousin, actor Varun Tej, and director Sukumar, co-producer of this upcoming film, were present, too.
Veteran actor and director R Narayana Murthy was also seen embracing Tej.
Tweeting about the "surprise welcome," Tej, Chiranjeevi's nephew, wrote, "Thank you Team #SDT15... Being back on sets again is so exciting & emotional for me and you multiplied it with your love."
