'Saaho' has beaten 'Baahubali 2' even before release: Here's how
With less than 15 days left for the release of Saaho starring Prabhas, the movie is already breaking records. After its trailer garnered a massive response, the movie has now dethroned Baahubali 2. According to trade analyst Girish Johar, the theatrical rights of Saaho for Andhra Pradesh and Nizam regions have been sold at Rs. 125 crore, higher than Baahubali 2 (Rs. 122 crore).

Makers spent Rs. 350 crore on 'Saaho'
Notably, Saaho's big-budget has also been the talking point in the industry since its inception. In fact, it has been touted as among the costliest Indian films ever made. Prabhas recently revealed the actual budget of the Sujeet directorial is Rs. 350 crore. For comparison, it is estimated that Baahubali 2 was made at an astounding budget of Rs. 250 crore.

"It happens in the present. Some parts of it are futuristic, but it is real. You can see me flying in the trailer. We made it bigger. Everything is real. We got the best of everything around the world and put it together," Prabhas added.
'Saaho' has been shot simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu
Apart from Prabhas, Saaho also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Murali Sharma, Mandira Bedi, Lal and Arun Vijay in significant roles. Jointly produced by UV Creations and T-Series, the movie will be a multilingual action-thriller. Saaho has been shot simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The much-anticipated movie is slated to hit the theaters on August 30.
