Box office: Aayush Sharma's 'Ruslaan' sees modest growth on Saturday
The action-drama film Ruslaan, featuring Aayush Sharma, experienced a modest increase in its box office collection on Saturday (day 2). Despite this growth, the film's total earnings did not surpass ₹2cr. The opening day (Friday) saw a humble collection of ₹55 lakh while early estimates from day 2 suggest a collection of ₹85 lakh. Directed by Karan Lalit Butani, the movie's plot revolves around a fierce young man called Ruslaan, who locks horns with terrorists.

Ruslaan saw a fluctuating audience turnout throughout its second day. Per Sacnilk, the morning shows recorded an occupancy rate of 5.29%, afternoon shows at 6.81%, evening shows at 5.45%, and night shows peaked at a needed 9.70%. The overall Hindi occupancy rate on Saturday was reported to be 6.81% by the industry tracker, contributing to the film's total two-day box office collection of ₹1.40cr.

Ruslaan narrates the journey of a young man shaped by adversity and fueled by a fervent love for his country. Orphaned by the demise of his terrorist father, Ruslaan finds guidance under the wing of an ATS officer. Driven by a deep-seated patriotism, he eventually joins RAW. Headlined by Sharma, the film also features stellar performances by Sushrii Shreya Mishraa, Jagapathi Babu, and Vidya Malvade. The project is bankrolled by K. K. Radhamohan. At the trailer launch of Ruslaan, Sharma expressed his hopes of making Salman Khan proud with this new venture. He stated, "In my earlier two films, I shared the screen with him (Khan). He has seen the film and his blessings are always there with me." Notably, Sharma is married to Khan's sister Arpita.
