Box office: 'Ruslaan' meets ₹4cr mark in first week
The Bollywood film Ruslaan has concluded its first week at the box office with a total of ₹4cr India nett. The seventh day (Thursday) contributed approximately ₹29 lakh to this sum, following the preceding six days' earnings of ₹3.71cr India nett. The daily earnings demonstrated a variable trend throughout the week, starting from ₹60 lakh on debut day and reaching a high of ₹90 lakh on Day 3 (first Sunday).
Thursday's income witnessed a sharp decline
Coming to the day-wise income, the Aayush Sharma starrer kicked off with ₹60 lakh and saw an increase over the weekend with ₹80 lakh and ₹90 lakh earnings respectively. However, a significant drop was observed on the first Monday, with haul dwindling to ₹40 lakh. The revenue for Day 5 and Day 6 were at ₹55 lakh and ₹46 lakh respectively, per Sacnilk. Thursday's numbers (₹29 lakh) again saw a decline. Sushrii Shreya Mishraa, Jagapathi Babu, and Vidya Malvade co-star.
'Ruslaan' saw fluctuating occupancy rates in first week
On Thursday, May 2, the Hindi actioner Ruslaan reported an overall Hindi occupancy of 5.2%. The rates varied throughout the day with morning shows at 5.05%, afternoon shows peaking at 5.59%, evening shows slightly lower at 5.21%, and night shows dipping to 4.95%. This fluctuation was also reflected in the Hindi (2D) occupancy across key regions with Chennai leading at a high of 30%.
