'Ruslaan' box office earnings stagnate on 6th day
The Hindi action film, Ruslaan, starring Aayush Sharma, Sushrii Shreya Mishraa, Jagapathi Babu, and Vidya Malvade, has experienced a stagnation in its box office earnings by the sixth day of its release. Directed by Karan Butani and produced by KK Radhamohan, the film managed to accumulate just over ₹3 crore in the first five days. However, on the sixth day, Ruslaan's earnings were approximately ₹43 lakh India nett according to preliminary estimates.
'Ruslaan' earnings have been steadily dropping in weekdays
Ruslaan kicked off with ₹60 lakh on its opening day and saw an increase over the weekend with earnings of ₹80 lakh and ₹90 lakh respectively. However, a significant drop of 56% was observed on its first Monday at theaters, with earnings dwindling to ₹40 lakh. The revenue for Day 5 and Day 6 were noted at ₹51 lakh and ₹43 lakh respectively.
Audience turnout for 'Ruslaan' varied throughout the day
Ruslaan had an overall Hindi occupancy of 6.77% on Wednesday, May 1. Morning shows saw a footfall of 5.65% which slightly increased to 6.47% for afternoon shows. Evening shows experienced a minor dip with a footfall of 5.61% while night shows recorded the highest footfall of the day at 9.33%.
'Ruslaan' recorded varied footfall across different cities
Regionally, Mumbai and Delhi National Capital Region saw footfalls of 7.75% and 6% respectively, while Kolkata had an occupancy rate of 7%. Pune recorded a footfall of 7.5% while Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai registered occupancy rates of 10%, 8%, and 21% respectively. Tier 2 cities such as Ahmedabad, Surat, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Bhopal, and Lucknow witnessed footfalls of 5.5%, 4.5%, 11.5%, 14%, 7.5%, and 4.25% respectively.
