'Ruslaan' nears ₹5 crore in box office collection
The Hindi action film Ruslaan, directed by Karan Lalit Butani and produced by KK Radhamohan, has nearly earned a total of ₹5 crore at the box office within its first five days. Despite a slow start with earnings of ₹2.7 crore India nett in the initial four days, the film experienced a slight increase on its fifth day, earning around ₹51 lakh India nett. The film stars Aayush Sharma, Sushrii Shreya Mishraa, Jagapathi Babu, and Vidya Malvade.
'Ruslaan' saw a drop in sales on first Monday
Ruslaan opened with ₹60 lakh in theaters and continued to earn ₹80 lakh and ₹90 lakh over its first weekend. However, the film saw a significant drop of 56% in sales on its first Monday, earning only ₹40 lakh. The fifth day's earnings of ₹51 lakh brought the total box office collection for Ruslaan to ₹3.21 crore.
'Ruslaan' recorded low occupancy on Tuesday
On Tuesday, April 30, Ruslaan had an overall Hindi occupancy of 6.61%. The morning shows saw a footfall of 5.28%, afternoon shows had a footfall of 6.55% while evening and night shows registered footfalls of 5.81% and 8.8%, respectively. These figures reflect the audience's interest in the film across different show timings.
Regional performance of 'Ruslaan' varies across cities
In terms of regional performance, Mumbai and Delhi National Capital Region had occupancies of 7.25% and 6.25% respectively while Kolkata saw a footfall of 6.75%. Pune recorded the highest footfall at 10.75%, with Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai registering footfalls of 8.75%, 5.75%, and a significant 24.33% respectively.
