Netflix renews 'XO, Kitty' for S03
What's the story
Netflix has confirmed the renewal of its popular romantic dramedy series, XO, Kitty, for a third season.
The announcement was made on Friday via a post that read: "Roses are red. Violets are blue. There's a third season of XO, Kitty in store for you!"
The show is a spinoff from Netflix's To All the Boys trilogy and follows the youngest Song Covey sister, Kitty (Anna Cathcart).

Season 2 success
'XO, Kitty' S02 premiered on January 16
The second season of XO, Kitty premiered on Netflix on January 16 and quickly rose to No. 2 on the streaming platform's English TV list.
It received an impressive 14.2 million views in its first week itself.
The success also resulted in a revival for the first season, which re-entered Netflix's Top 10 at No. 5 with 3.8 million views at the same time.
Season 3 anticipation
Showrunner Jessica O'Toole promises more drama in S03
Jessica O'Toole, the showrunner of XO, Kitty, said she was excited to return to Seoul for another season.
She teased that if fans thought junior year at KISS (Korean Independent School of Seoul) brought drama, they should "just wait."
O'Toole acknowledged the cliffhanger ending of season two and assured fans that season three will be "worth the wait," promising a summer episode filled with "romance, friendship, adventure...and plenty of kissing."

The series XO, Kitty was created by Jenny Han, the author of the original To All the Boys trilogy.
O'Toole is the showrunner and writer for the show. The production is by Awesomeness Studios.
Sang Heon Lee and Choi Min-young are also a part of the cast.
