Rishi Kapoor is returning home, will celebrate birthday with family
Since September last year, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has been undergoing treatment in New York. A few days ago, the 66-year-old said he was feeling homesick and wanted to return home. And looks like his prayers were finally answered as Rishi might return home, just in time for his 67th birthday. After going to the US, Rishi hasn't returned to Mumbai even once.
Rishi is expected to return in August
After almost one year, the Karz actor will come home in August, just a month before his birthday on September 4. In an interview, Rishi said that his return would depend on the advice of doctors. "I have recovered well and I am feeling good. Must be 100% fit by the time I am back," he said. We hope the results are positive.
Notably, Rishi is now "cancer free"
Earlier, reports confirmed that Rishi is completely cancer free and is under strict medical observation. Recently, the actor was seen spending a peaceful evening at a posh restaurant in New York, with wife Neetu and daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. He shared a boomerang video on Twitter where he looked exuberant and fresh. He really knows how to enjoy the rough times with grace.
Movies and cricket are keeping Rishi busy
Meanwhile, sitting in NYC, the actor is keeping himself busy with ICC World Cup 2019 and movies. Earlier, his son actor Ranbir Kapoor revealed that Rishi keeps talking about movies and if he would get to work again. "He speaks to me about his insecurities that when he gets back, whether people will offer him films," said Ranbir in an interview.

Being in New York, Rishi also received some love from Bollywood. Many actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Karisma Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal, met the actor. We are sure these visits would have made him happy.
